Lindsay is an award winning artist. Winning the inaugural 2023 Scottish Landscapes Awards and the acclaimed Crown Fine Art Award at the UK's National Open Art Competition. He has exhibited at many galleries in the USA and UK including The Arsenal Gallery in New York and The New York Times building.

Lindsay was solely responsible for bringing the World's pre-eminent Museum of Photography - The Eastman House's Ansel Adams Collection to Scotland, and privileged to stage a joint exhibition alongside the master photographer Ansel Adams. The only photographer to have been afforded such an honour by the Museum.

A collection of his landscape images were auctioned at Sotheby's New York. His fine art images have been selected on many occasions by The Royal Scottish Academy, and also exhibited at The Royal College of Art, London.

With his equestrian images showcased on BBC TV, his equine series of images have also been exhibited at Windsor Castle, Hickstead, The Horse of the Year Show and The Kentucky Derby.
